Teddy-Bear Toss, Campers Reunion Night Set For Nov. 27

The Youngstown State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is hosting its second annual Teddy Bear Toss to benefit Akron Children's Hospital Mahoning Valley and it's first Campers Reunion Night, Wednesday, Nov. 27, when the men's basketball team takes on Westminster at 7 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or other new stuffed animal to the game against the Titans on Wednesday and throw it onto the court during halftime. All stuffed animals collected at the Teddy Bear Toss will be donated to Akron Children's Hospital just in time for the holidays.

Fans who bring a stuffed animal to the game for the Teddy Bear Toss will also receive a voucher for one free ticket to any future home basketball game.

Campers and their families will receive discounted $5 tickets to the Westminster game. There will be a second Campers Reunion Night on Saturday, Jan. 11., when the Penguins host Detroit Mercy at 2 p.m.

Those kids interested in taking part of the starting lineup "high-five tunnel" should meet at the promotions table 30 minutes before tipoff.
