After a day of travel, the Youngstown State men's basketball team held a one-hour shootaround in preparation of its first exhibition game against the University of Calgary, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Penguins also square off against the U.S. Virgin Islands National Team, Thursday, Aug. 15, at 3 p.m. The Penguins will close out the tour against Calgary, Friday, Aug. 16, at 10 a.m.

All three games will be played at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The UVI Sports & Fitness Center has been home to the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam since its construction in 2001. The 3,500-seat venue features four locker rooms, a training room, custom hardwood floor, air conditioning, concessions, VIP lounge, media workroom, and ethernet connectivity.

The UVI Sports & Fitness Center is recognized as one of the best facilities of its kind in the Caribbean and the top venue for early-season college basketball tournaments, regularly reaching standing-room capacity for the duration of the men's and women's Paradise Jam.
