Two Place in Top Ten at Cleveland State Invitational

Beachwood, Ohio -- Youngstown State men's golfers Michael Lower and Mark Olbrych tied for ninth at the John Telich Sr. Cleveland State Invitational which was held Tuesday. The 14-team tournament was shortened to one round because of inclement weather on Monday at Canterbury Golf Course.

On Tuesday, the Penguins carded an 18-hole total of 299 tying Applachian State for sixth place. IPFW won the team competition with a 289 while Cleveland State was second with a 294.

Lower and Olbrych finished with a round of 73 on Tuesday. Joe Santisi tied for 15th with a 74, Shayne Wilson was 61st carding a 79 and Anthony Conn was 69th with an 80.

The Penguins return to action on Oct. 10 when they compete in the Cincinnati Bearcat Invitational.
