Penguins Continue Spring Slate at NYX Hoosier Invitational

Bloomington, Ind. -- The Youngstown State men's golf team continued their spring campaign at the NYX Invitational hosted by Indiana at the Indiana University Golf Course. The tournament's final round was held on Sunday after the first two rounds were Saturday.

The Penguins placed 16th out of 16 teams with a three-round score of 922. Northwestern won the event with an 841 outdistancing IUPUI by 11 strokes. 

Leading the way for YSU was Mark Olbrych who finished with a three-round score of 230. Two Penguins carded three-round totals of 231 - Anthony Conn and Bryan Yeo. Joe Santisi was right behind with a 232 and Shayne Wilson shot a 235.

The Penguins return to action on April 13-14 when they compete in the Detroit Titans Invitational in Highland, Mich.
