Hebron, Ky. -- The Youngstown State men's golf team continued fall action at the UC Bearcat Invitational which was held on Monday and Tuesday at the Traditions Golf Club.
YSU placed 11th out of 13 with a three-round total of 912. Austin Peay ran away with the team title with an 867 to come-from-behind and beat Belmont by six shots. The Penguins were in fourth place after firing a 294 following yesterday's first round. Play on Monday was suspended because of darkness and the Penguins had two scores of 309 today.
Bryan Yeo led the way for the Guins with a 23rd-place finish. Yeo totaled 223 for the event with rounds of 76, 76 and 71. Mark Olybrych tied for 34th place with a 228 (72-76-80).
The Penguins play their final tournament of the fall Oct. 22-23 at the Dayton Flyer Invitational.
