2015-16 (Senior): Named the Horizon League’s Golfer of the Year…was a first-team all-league honoree…played in all 12 tournaments and 33 rounds…finished eighth at the Horizon League Championships with a three-round score of 223…carded a final round 70 after scores of 76 and 77 to start the tournament …had seven top-10 finishes during the year…took medalist honors at the Cleveland State Invitational in October…team’s top performer on seven occasions…had four rounds in the 60s…averaged a school-record 72.4 strokes per round.
2014-15 (Junior): First-team All-Horizon League selection...played in all 11 tournaments and 29 rounds...led the Penguins with a 73.3 strokes per round average...had two second-place finishes during the campaign and finished in the top-five three times, including fifth at the Horizon League Championships...at the HL Championships fired rounds of 79, 70 and 77 to card a 226 for the tournament...earned all-tournament recognition with his fifth-place finish...placed second at the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 217...had rounds of 74, 70 and 73 during the event...also placed second at the Dayton Flyers Invitational with a two-round tally of 142...ended the event with a final round 68...was sixth at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational with a three-round 212, including a second-round 68...finished ninth at the CSU Invitational with a two-round total of 144...was 13th at the Wright State Intercollegiate with a three-round score of 223 (75-77-71)...placed eighth at the NYX Hoosier Invitational with a three-round 213 (71-72-70)...was 12th at the PSU Rutherford Intercollegiate with a 221, including an opening round 68...earned his third letter.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Participated in 10 tournaments totaling 28 rounds…carded a season-best 67 at the Cleveland State Invitational…compiled 2,105 strokes for a 75.2 single round average…tallied the top-10 finishes and one top-20 finish…fired rounds of 74, 74, and 77 at the Horizon League Championships to finish in seventh place with a 225 54-hole total…finished ninth at the Cleveland State Invitational with a 214 three-round mark…clubbed a 144 two-round total at the Dayton Flyer Invitational to garner a share of ninth place…finished 13th at the UC Bearcat Invitational with a three-round mark of 220…earned his second letter.
2012-13 (Freshman): Competed in eight tournaments and 23 rounds...led the Penguins with an 11th-place finish at the Horizon League Championships with a 225...concluded with an HL-record-tying round of 66 following rounds of 81 and 78...the 66 tied the HL mark held by three others, the most recent of which was in 2000...round featured nine birdies, seven pars, a bogey and a double-bogey...through five holes was two-over par with a score of 22...played the final 13 holes in an amazing 44 strokes...birdied six, eight and nine for a one-under par 34...on the back nine, bogeyed 10 and had pars at 11 and 12...concluded round by birding the six holes playing them in 17 shots...at the NYX Hoosier Invitational was YSU's best finisher at 26th with a three-round score of 221 (72-77-72)...finished 20th at the Detroit Titans Invitational with a three-round 227 (73-78-76)...posted a 238 at the PSU Frank Rutherford Intercollegiate...competed in the first four tournaments of the fall...had a 15th-place finish at the BGSU John Piper Intercollegiate with a three-round 226 (75-73-78)...had a three-round 239 at the Cleveland State Invitational...carded a 235 at the UC Bearcat Invitational...averaged 77.0 strokes per round...earned his first letter.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-time state qualifier at South Range High School...carded a two-round score of 169 (86-83) to finished 12th at the 2011 Division II State Golf Championship last October at the North Star Golf Resort in Sandbury...finished 12th in the event just two strokes out of the top 10...as a junior, shot a two-round 162 (80-82) to finish eighth at the Division III State Championships also held at North Star Golf Resort in Sandbury...was a four-year letterwinner...golf coach at South Range was Jim Hanek...was also a standout basketball player for the Raiders being named a Special Mention All-Ohio pick for the Division III school...averaged 14.4 points per game, shot 59 percent from the field and made 70 3-pointers his senior season...tabbed a first-team 2012 Northeast Inland All-District Division III selection as well.
