Kettering, Ohio - The Youngstown State men's golf team concluded its fall season at the Dayton Fall Invitational held at the NCR Country Club on Tuesday.
The Penguins had a two-round team score of 625 with rounds of 312 and 313. Winning the event was Michigan with a 580 by eight shots over the host Flyers.
Leading the way for YSU was Justin Hallapy who placed 16th. Hallapy had a two-round total of 150 following rounds of 73 and 77. Hallapy had five birdies during his two-over par first round while he finished with three birdies on Tuesday.
Steven Sveda tied for 29th place with a 152. Sveda had rounds of 74 and 78 at the event. Other finishers for the Penguins were Jason McQuown who was 61st with a 157 (78-79), Jacob Harrah who finished 73rd with a 158 (78-80), Thomas Lydic who had a 166 (87-79) and Dominic Carano had a 171 (88-83).
