2016-17 (Junior): Competed in 11 tournaments and played in 30 rounds...averaged 78.7 strokes per round...lowest round was a 72 at the NKU Fall Collegiate Classic with a 72 in the second round...had a three-round total of 225 (73-76-76) at the Cleveland State Invitational...best two round event was at the Dayton Flyer Invitational 150 (73-77) and finished tied for 16th at that tournament...finished 36th at the Horizon League Championships with a three-round total of 253...highlighting the tournament was a second-round 77...had a three-round score of 233 (82-77-74) at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate...earned his third letter.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Competed in seven tournaments and played 18 rounds...averaged 77.9 strokes per round...played in six straight tournaments at one point...best finish was 21st at the Jackrabbit Invitational with a three-round 222 (73-73-76)...carded a low round of 68 during the second round at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational in the fall...had a three-round total of 229 (76-78-75) at the Cleveland State Invitational...earned his second letter.
2014-15 (R-Freshman): Competed in six tournaments and played in 16 rounds...played in the first three events of the year and four of the first five...tied for 10th at the Whistling Straits Invitational with a three-round score of 226, highlighted by a final round 70...had a two-round 156 at the Dayton Flyer Invitational...carded a three-round 224 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational...fired a 230 at the NYX Hoosier Invitational which featured a final round 73...low round was the 70 at Whistling Straits...averaged 76.8 strokes per round...earned his first letter.
2013-14 (Freshman): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a standout at Hubbard earning four letters and was a four-time team MVP...was a Division II District qualifier all four years...was a Division II sectional co-medalist on two occasions...as a senior tied for first with a 74...was a first-team All-TAC 8 honoree...named first-team All-American Conference...coach was Mike Nicora...also played basketball...member of National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Parents are Marianne and Bob Hallapy...has a brother and a sister...major is engineering...is the 2017-18 recipient of the James W. Leetch Memorial Golf Scholarship.

Why I chose YSU: I was given an opportunity to compete at the highest level in college golf and the chemical engineering program is one of the best in the country, providing me with the best education I can ask for.

My greatest sports moment: Shooting a two-under (70) round at the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate in my first year of competing and winning the tournament for the Penguins.

Hobbies: Jogging, watching Netflix and hanging out with friends.
Post-college plans/ambitions: I hope to move down south and work in the petroleum field with my bachelors degree in chemical engineering.
