The Youngstown State men's golf team will be back in action Sunday and Monday as they compete in the third annual NKU Fall Classic at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
The event will feature 13 other schools including the host team Northern Kentucky, Butler, Cal-Poly, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, Green Bay, Fort Wayne, Morehead State, Oakland, Robert Morris, Savannah State and Wright State.
The field will include 15 five-man teams with Northern Kentucky playing two squads. There will be a total of 87 players with 12 competing as individuals
The YSU team lineup will include senior Justin Hallapy and junior Jason McQuown as well as freshmen Ken Keller, Kevin Scherr and C.J. Hughes. This group has participated in each of the team's first two events this fall.
Junior Dominic Carano will also be competing as an individual for the Penguins. This will be the first action of the season for the Canfield, Ohio, native.
Elks Run Golf Course will play 6,845 yards and par is 71. The Penguins will play 36 holes on Sunday and return to play another 18 holes on Monday. Play will begin with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday and 9 a.m. on Monday.

The NKU Fall Classic is played in memory of former Northern Kentucky golfer, Andrew Jewell, who passed away during his senior season in 2008.
