The Youngstown State men's golf team will be competing in the 20th Towson Invitational at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Md. on Saturday and Sunday.
This will be the fourth event of the spring season for the Penguins, who have played events in Nevada, Georgia and Virginia over the past month.
The field will feature 15 other schools including the host Towson, Bryant, Central Connecticut State, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Goldey-Beacom, Long Island, Manhattan, Maryland Eastern Shore, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, St. Anselm, St. Bonaventure, St. Francis (Pa.) and St. Johns.
Head Coach Tony Joy has announced that YSU's lineup will include Dominic Carano, C.J. Hughes, Ken Keller, Jason McQuown and Kevin Scherr. This will be McQuown's second event of the spring while the remaining four golfers in the lineup will be competing for the fourth time this spring.
The teams will play 18 holes on both Saturday and Sunday with tee times running from 8:00 am to 10:06 am each day. Tee times will be announced when they become available.
The course at Prospect Bay Country Club will play approximately 6,530 yards and par is 72. Live scoring for the event will be available at Golfstat.com and via the Golfstat app.
