The Youngstown State men's golf team will resume its fall schedule on Saturday with the Fuzzy Zoeller Intercollegiate hosted by Indiana at Champions Pointe Golf Club in Henryville, Ind.
The Penguins are coming off a 10th-place finish in their season opener at the Turning Stone Tiger Intercollegiate over Labor Day weekend.
The event will feature 12 other teams including Indiana, Bethune-Cookman, Bowling Green, Evansville, Georgetown, IUPUI, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne, Southern Illinois, Toledo, Western Illinois and Western Kentucky. YSU will be paired with Bethune-Cookman and Evansville.
The Youngstown State lineup will include senior Jason McQuown, sophomores Kevin Scherr, C.J. Hughes and Ken Keller as well as freshman Bryan Kordupel. Sophomore Justin Stark will also be competing as an individual. McQuown, Scherr, Hughes, Keller and Kordupel each competed in the team's first event while Stark will be making his season debut.
The teams will play 36 holes on Saturday with a shotgun start set for 9 a.m. The final round will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday with a double-tee start on holes number one and 10. The course will play approximately 7,174 yards and par is 72. Live scoring will be available via GolfStat.com and the GolfStat app.
The tournament is named for former PGA Tour golfer and Indiana native, Fuzzy Zoeller, who won The Masters in 1979 and the U.S. Open in 1984. He won a total of 10 PGA Tour events during his career and is one of three golfers to have won The Masters in his first appearance in the event.
