The Youngstown State men's golf team will continue its spring schedule on Saturday when it begins play in the Towson Spring Invitational at Prospect Bay Country Club in Gransonville, Md.
The field will feature 15 other schools including the host Towson, Bryant, Canisius, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Goucher, Hofstra, Long Island, Manhattan, Mount St. Mary's, North Carolina A&T, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, St. Anselm and St. Francis, Pa.
Hughes, Keller and Scherr have each participated in all eight of the team's events this season while McQuown has competed in seven. Ford will be in the lineup for the third consecutive tournament after joining the team as a transfer after the fall semester. Stark will be competing for first time this spring, and for the fifth time overall in 2018-19.
YSU competed in the same event at Prospect Bay Country Club last April, finishing eighth out of 17 teams. Hughes, Keller, McQuown and Scherr were also in the Penguins' lineup for last year's tournament. Ford and Stark will be playing the course for the first time.
Play will begin on Saturday and conclude on Sunday with the teams playing 18 holes each day. Tee times will run from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. ET both days. The Penguins will begin on the first tee and be paired with Fairfield and Long Island during Saturday's first round while Stark will begin on the 10th tee. Tee times for Sunday will be determine by position following play on Saturday.

The course will play approximately 6,530 yards and par is 72. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.com and the Golfstat mobile app.
