Rosa Picks Up Victory in 6-1 HL Loss to Green Bay

Boardman -- The Youngstown State men's tennis team competed at the Boardman Tennis Center versus Horizon League foe Green Bay Sunday morning. The Penguins dropped a 6-1 decision to the Phoenix.

Felipe Rosa notched the only win for the Penguins in singles. Rosa captured a 6-1, 6-4 victory in No. 2 singles over Green Bay's Matt Clegg.

The Penguins' Tariq Ismail lost 6-3, 6-4 to former Horizon League Player of the Week, Paul Swanson. Ismail and Rosa teamed up to grab the Penguins a victory in No. 1 doubles. The duo handed Gogolin (GB) and Oothoudt (GB) a 8-3 defeat.

YSU will be back in action April 2 and April 3 as they hit the road to play Valpo and UIC in league matches.
