The Youngstown State men's tennis team is action on Saturday against Detroit Mercy. The Penguins enter the match with 15 dual wins on the season which ties for the school single-season win mark.

Saturday's contest starts at 3 p.m. at the Boardman Tennis Center.

YSU (15-6 overall and 3-1 in the Horizon League) has tied the school record for most wins in a season which was set in 1990-91. A win over the Titans (6-11, 0-1) would give the program 16 dual wins this season eclipsing the previous school best total.

The Guins have won 10 of their last 12 duals and three straight in Horizon League play. Last weekend YSU picked up road victories at Wright State and Northern Kentucky.

Three Penguins enter the match with 3-1 league records - Mitch Maroscher, Thomas Rodrigues and Danylo Veremeichuk. Overall in dual play, Maroscher is 14-4, Veremiechuk is 8-2 and Rodrigues is 12-4.

Also, Joao Garretto is 13-7, Luke Purser is 10-6 and Gabriel Tolesani is 9-7.

The Guins have won four straight matches against the Titans and six of the last seven since 2010.
