The Youngstown State men's tennis team returns to action with matches against Toledo on Friday and Binghamton on Sunday.
Friday's match will be at the Western Reserve Racquet Club in Streetsboro at 3 p.m. while Sunday's contest against Binghamton is set for 10 a.m. at Cleveland State's Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
The Penguins (2-3) have played a challenging schedule so far this season. YSU started the campaign with wins over Duquesne and St. Bonaventure before dropping contests at Butler, DePaul and Valpariso.
Toledo (3-4) enters the contest on a two-match winning streak after picking up victories over Wayne State and Denison. Binghamton (4-3) split a pair of matches last weekend beating Army before falling to Clemson.
- YSU has played Binghamton just one other time. The Penguins dropped a 7-0 match to the Bearcats in Pittsburgh on March 14, 2010.
- The Penguins last beat Toledo on Jan. 20, 1998. The other two YSU wins in the series were in the late 1970s. UT has won the last 16 meetings.
