Kent, Ohio - Chad Zallow ran the nation's fastest 60m hurdles race of the season as the Youngstown State track and field team complete at the Golden Flash Gala, hosted by Kent State, on Friday and Saturday.
Chad Zallow had a blazing time of 7.74 seconds to win the 60m hurdles. Zallow took first in the event by .22 seconds ahead of Pittsburgh's Desmond Palmer.
Eles won the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.65 seconds, an impressive .34 seconds ahead of the second-place runner.
Carl Zallow nipped Ashland's Brandon Wilson in the 60m dash finishing with a time of 6.80 seconds, just .02 ahead of Wilson. Zallow also placed first in the 200m dash running a time of 21.82 seconds. Chad Zallow was second with a time of 22.07 seconds while Marcellus Embry was fourth at 22.17 seconds.
Jaliyah Elliot was third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.68 seconds and was fourth in the 200m dash with a time of 25.17 seconds.
