Large Group Of Penguins Set to Compete at BYU Last Chance Meet

A group of 35 Youngstown State men's and women's track and field athletes will be in action on Friday and Saturday at the BYU Last Chance Meet in Provo, Utah, at the Clarence Robinson Track.

The Penguins head west to compete against the Cougars for the second consecutive year following the Horizon League Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

YSU's Horizon League winners who are competing at the two-day event include Keishawnna Burts (100m, 200m), Carl Zallow (100m, 200m), Amber Eles (100m hurdles), Collin Harden (400m hurdles), Nicolette Kreatsoulas (Hammer Throw), Matt Monroe (Hammer Throw), Abby Jones (high jump), Arnaldo Morales (high jump), Tyler Donati (javelin), Angela Lock (javelin), Dylan Latone (pole vault) and Jaynee Corbett (shot put).

Joining BYU and YSU at the meet are select athletes from Utah Valley, Utah State and Weber State. This is the final competition for all the school's prior the announcement of the NCAA Preliminaries qualifiers which is on March 17.

On Friday, field events begin at 2 p.m. Eastern time with running events starting at 1 p.m. On Saturday, field events start at 1 p.m. with running events getting underway at 2 p.m. Local times in Provo are Noon and 11 a.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. and Noon on Saturday.
