Head coach John Barnes and the Youngstown State women's basketball program are inviting golfers to participate in its annual outing on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Knoll Run Golf Course in Lowellville, Ohio.
The fund-raising event will be a four-person scramble format with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m.
The $300 entry fee for foursomes – or $75 for individuals – includes 18 holes of golf, a riding cart, breakfast, refreshments, a box lunch at the turn, a buffet dinner and prizes. Guests wishing to attend only the buffet portion at 2:30 p.m. may do so for $15.

A foursome is also included with each package. Horizon Level sponsors will also receive four courtside tickets to all women's basketball home games during the 2014-15 season as well as a basketball autographed by the team. The Horizon package is an investment of $1,000, and the Penguin package is an investment of $500. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.
There will also be a Chinese auction with a chance to win great prizes and a 50/50 raffle. Tickets will be sold throughout the day, and winners will be drawn at dinner.
