Two Women’s Basketball Signees Nominated for 2015 McDonald’s All American Games

Youngstown State women's basketball signees Bre Berryman and Jill Blacksten have both been nominated to play in the 2015 McDonald's All American Games.

The pair is among a select group of 11 girls players from Ohio and 330 in the country to be nominated to play in the games on April 1 at the United Center in Chicago. Berryman and Blacksten are now eligible to make the final team of 24 girls that will play in the 2015 games. The teams will be announced during the McDonald's All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. Eastern.

Berryman and Blacksten are two members of a talented five-person 2015 recruiting class that signed with YSU in November. The class also includes Marissa Brown, Alison Smolinski and Melinda Trimmer, who are all also from Ohio.
