Tickets will be available starting on Monday morning for the Youngstown State women's basketball team's Horizon League Championship quarterfinal contest against Detroit on Wednesday, March 11. Tipoff at the Beeghly Center is set for 7:05 p.m.

The Penguins (20-9) are the No. 4 seed in the tournament after posting a 9-7 record in Horizon League play. The Titans (12-17) are the fifth-seed and went 7-9 in Horizon League play. The teams split the regular-season meetings with each winning on the road. YSU won at Detroit 70-65 on Feb. 14 after dropping a 59-58 contest at the Beeghly Center on Jan. 28.

All adult tickets are $10 while youth tickets (age 3-12) are $5. YSU students will be admitted free with a valid student ID. A special tournament package is also available for $100 that includes four reserved seats, 30 general admission tickets and special recognition at the game.

YSU season-ticket holders have until the end of the day on Tuesday to purchase their seats for the contest.

The YSU Athletic Ticket Office will be open in Stambaugh Stadium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The ticket office in Beeghly Center will open at 6 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the 7:05 p.m. tip. Tickets can be ordered in person or by calling (330) 941-1YSU.

The winner of the YSU-Detroit game will advance and play the winner of top-seeded Green Bay and Milwaukee/Valparaiso in the semifinals. The Phoenix is the tournament's top seed with a 15-1 mark during league play.

Wright State is the second seed in the tournament by virtue of posting 12-4 league record, and Cleveland State finished one game ahead of YSU at 10-6 to be the third seed. UIC and Oakland both finished 6-10 to tie for sixth place, and UIC earned the sixth seed based on sweeping the Golden Grizzlies during the regular season. Eighth-seeded Milwaukee and ninth-seeded Valparaiso will play in the opening round of the tournament on Monday at 8 p.m. on UWM's campus.

This marks the third consecutive season the Guins will play host to a quarterfinal contest. YSU beat Oakland last year and defeated Cleveland State in 2013.
