The Youngstown State bowling team finished 16th in total pins in Baker play on Friday in the first day of the Brunswick Bearcat Open in Fairview Heights, Ill.

The Penguins finished with 4,462 pins in their five Baker matches, which is six pins behind 15th-place Valparaiso and 15 pins back of 14th-place Prairie View A&M.
