To be recognized, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. Dockery and Olesky are among 268 honorees representing NCAA bowling programs at 55 schools. This is a record for both individuals and schools since the inception of the award in 2006.
Dockery completed her freshman season in 2017-18 and carries a 3.72 GPA as an accounting major. Voted the team's MVP by her teammates, she averaged 177.84 in team games and broke 200 seven times. She also competed in 316 Baker games during the campaign.
Olesky graduated magna cum laude in May with a 3.74 GPA in political science. She averaged 191.44 in 16 team games during her senior year, and her 246 against LIU Post tied for the highest game by a Penguin in 2017-18. In Baker play, she participated in 88 games.
