The Youngstown State women's golf team will finish its fall schedule with the University of Dayton Fall Invitational at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio on Monday and Tuesday.
The Penguins are coming off a break of more than two weeks after playing four events in a span of 28 days during the month of September. The team will be competing in the state of Ohio for the third time in five events this fall.
The tournament field will feature 12 other teams including Chicago State, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Eastern Illinois, Findlay, IUPUI, Morehead State, Northern Kentucky, Oakland, Ohio Northern, Ohio State and Western Illinois.
Head Coach Nate Miklos has announced that the YSU lineup will include Katlyn Shutt, Puthita Khuanrudee, Victoria Grans, Rattika Sittigool and Jenna Vivo. Megan Creager and Kara Raines will also be competing as individuals.
Creager, Grans, Khuanrudee and Shutt have competed in each of the team's first four events this season. Sittigool and Vivo will be participating in their fourth event of the fall while Raines will be making her third appearance.
Comments from Coach Miklos: "After a very busy September with four events, we had some much needed down time. We've had a very good week of practice and are ready for this weekend."
The tournament will be played on NCR Country Club's North Course. The teams will play 18 holes on Monday with a shotgun start slated for 11 a.m. The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. The course will play approximately 5,869 yards and par is 70.
