The Youngstown State women's golf team will face a quick turnaround as it competes for the third time in four days at the SSU Spring Invitational hosted by Savannah State at Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, Ga., on Thursday.

The Penguins are coming off their third win of the season on Monday and Tuesday at the Benbow Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla. It was a complete team effort as four golfers finished in the top 10, and another finished tied for 16th.

Another victory would make this season's team just the fifth in YSU history to win at least four events. Head Coach Nate Miklos also led the Guins to four wins in 2014-15 and 2015-16. The school record for wins in a season is five, set in 1997-98 and 1999-2000.

The field at the 18-hole, one-day event on Thursday will feature six other teams including the host Savannah State, Butler, Earlham, East Stroudsburg, Western Illinois and Wooster.

Miklos has announced that YSU's lineup will include Katlyn Shutt, Victoria GransRattika SittigoolJenna Vivo and Megan Creager while Puthita Khuanrudee will compete as an individual.

Shutt, Grans and Khuanrudee have competed in all eight of the team's events this season while Creager, Sittigool and Vivo have each participated in seven tournaments.
