The Youngstown State women's golf team will resume its fall schedule on Monday with the 2019 Fall Preview at Silver Lake hosted by Akron at Silver Lake Country Club in Silver Lake, Ohio.

The Penguins will return to competition more than two weeks after finishing 11th at Penn State's Nittany Lion Invitational. YSU began the fall season by winning the Roseann Schwartz Invitational, and followed that with a second-place finish at the Bucknell Invitational.

The tournament field will feature eight other teams including Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ohio, Toledo and Western Michigan. The teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday with shotgun starts set for 9 a.m. each day. YSU will be the only participating team that is not a member of the Mid-American Conference.

The Penguins will be paired with Toledo and Western Michigan during the first two rounds on Monday. The course will play approximately 6,277 yards and par is 72; there will be no live scoring.

Head Coach Nate Miklos has announced that YSU's lineup will include Puthita Khuanrudee, Christina Lewis, Danae Rugola, Victoria Grans and Tori Utrup. In addition, Kara Raines will be competing as an individual for the Penguins.

Khuanrudee, Lewis and Rugola have been part of the lineup in each of the team's first three events. Khuanrudee has recorded three straight top-15 finishes to begin the fall while Lewis and Rugola have each earned a pair of top-10 finishes over their first three collegiate events.

Grans, who shared medalist honors with Khuanrudee at the season-opening Roseann Schwartz Invitational, will make her third appearance in the lineup after not competing at the Nittany Lion Invitational. It was the first time in her career that she was not part of YSU's team lineup.

Utrup will be in the Penguins' lineup for the first time since she competed at the Horizon League Championships as a freshman in April 2018. Playing as an individual, she tied for 14th at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational and tied for 25th at the Bucknell Invitational earlier this fall.

Raines will also be participating in her third event of the fall. She was a part of YSU's lineup at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational where she tied for 23rd, and at the Nittany Lion Invitational.
