The Youngstown State swimming and diving team will honor six seniors prior to their final home dual meet of the season on Saturday against Bowling Green. The meet is set to begin at Noon at the Beeghly Natatorium.

The Penguins will salute divers Bailey Dipman, Amanda Robinson, Lydia Scheringer and Megan Siford and swimmers Katrina Gerbrand and Hannah Reynolds. It will also be the final home dual meet for diver Bec Stafford.

YSU is competing in its final dual of the year against the Falcons. The Penguins and BGSU are familiar foes having competed against one another three times in 2016-17. The first meet was in September at the Tom Stubbs Relays hosted by the Falcons and both teams competed against a strong Akron squad last Friday and Saturday.

Reynolds concludes her career as one of the top breaststroke swimmers in school history. She owns the school record in the 100m event and ranks second in the 200m. Four of the five divers rank in the top 10 in school history in either the one-meter, three-meter or both dives. Scheringer is the school record holder in the platform event as well.

The divers have a final dual on Sunday at 11 a.m. when YSU plays host to the YSU Diving Invitational at the Natatorium.

The Horizon League Championships are set for Feb. 22-25 in Chicago, Ill., with UIC serving as the host.
