Cleveland, Ohio - Youngstown State senior divers Bethany Glick and McKenzie Stelter placed in the top four of the three-meter diving competition on the first day of action at the Horizon League Championships at CSU's Busbey Natatorium.
Glick posted a score of 277.35 to finish behind UIC's Cydney Liebenberg who won the event with a 298.65. Milwaukee's Cassidy Pilo was third while Stelter finished fourth with a score of 257.50. Stelter had a strong showing in the preliminary round with the top overall score while Glick was seventh.
The other two events held on the first day of competition were relays - 200 medley and 800 freestyle. In the 200 medley relay, YSU clocked a time of 1:45.47. In the 800 free, YSU posted a time of 7:40.18.
Preliminaries for Thursday's three individual swimming events begin at 10 a.m. while the finals will be held at 5:30 p.m.
