Both Penguins won their events by finishing ahead of Illinois swimmers.
Csado won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.96 seconds ahead of Illinois' Monica Guyett. Bishop won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:12.49 just out-touching Illinois' Ilse Martinez (5:12.71).
YSU had two of the top three finishers in the 200-yard freestyle. Viktoria Orosz was second in the 200 free with a time of 1:56.63 while Bishop was third at 1:56.75.
Aida Jurinovics placed second in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.19. She also placed fourth in the 200 IM at 2:11.20
McKenzie Stelter placed second in both diving events. In the one-meter dive, Stelter was second with a time of 251.40 while Bethany Glick was third with a score of 246.75. In the three-meter, Stelter scored a 271.72 to place second, just 3.5 points out of the top spot. Glick was third with a 251.77.
Kolbrun Jonsdottir was fourth in the 50 free with a time of 25.40 seconds. Orosz was fourth in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.62 seconds. Also, Paris Krug finished fourth in the 500 free with a time of 5:24.95.
YSU ended the meet with a second-place performance in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:39.13. In the 400 medley relay, YSU swam a time of 4:01.60 to place third.
The Penguins are in action on Friday when they play host to Cleveland State at the Beeghly Natatorium.
