Swimming & Diving Programs Head to Pittsburgh

The Youngstown State men's and women's swimming diving programs are in action on Saturday with a meet at Pittsburgh's Trees Pool. Diving events begin at 9 a.m. with swimming starting at 1 p.m.

The men will be competing against Pittsburgh, Villanova and Duquesne in their first meet since 1985.

The women are in action against Duquesne, Pitt and Villanova in a Quad Meet.

YSU will face some strong competition on the men's side as the Panthers are ranked 24th in the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America preseason poll.

It marks the second meet of the year for the women's team who swam at Marshall last week. Tiphaine Saint-Gilles led the Penguins against the Thundering Herd with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke.
