Penguins Suffer 5-2 Setback to Eastern Michigan

Ypsilanti, Mich. - The Youngstown State women's tennis team picked up a pair of singles wins in a 5-2 defeat to Eastern Michigan on Friday afternoon.

Earning wins for the Penguins agianst the Eagles were Anastasiia Khokhlova and Lucia Zagar.

At No. 3 singles, Khokhlova earned a 6-3, 6-3 win over Giuliana Ansaloni. At No. 5, Zagar picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Natalia Regalado. In play at No. 1 singles, Noelly Longi Nsimba dropped a three-set battle (7-5, 0-6, 6-2) to Ani Gogvadze. 

The Penguins are next in action on Saturday when they play at Bowling Green. That match is slated for 1 p.m.
