The Youngstown State women's tennis team will visit 14th-ranked Ohio State on Thursday for a pair of matches at the OSU Varsity Tennis Center. The matches are set for noon and 5 p.m.
The Penguins (3-6) are making their first trip to Columbus since the 2016 NCAA Regionals. This will be the fifth and sixth meetings between the program's all time. Ohio State (8-2) has won five consecutive matches since a loss to Duke on Feb. 8.
Through the nine dual matches, Tamara Teufl and Lucia Zagar led the Penguins with five singles wins each. In doubles play, Zagar, Teufl and Claudia Barboza each have three victories. YSU was last in action on Feb. 15 when it dropped a 4-3 decision to Toledo.
Following the matches with the Buckeyes, the Guins will return to action over Spring Break when they play three matches in California.
