Youngstown State first-year head volleyball coach Aline Scott is hosting two team camps, an individual skills camp and an advanced skills camp on the YSU campus this July.

Scott and the volleyball camp staff will host the team camps on back-to-back weekends, July 13-15 and July 20-22. The individual skills camp will have a half-day format from July 16-18, and the advanced skills camp will run concurrently with a full-day format.

The team camps will emphasize competition and will cost $215 per camper. There is a total of 18 hours of competition and practice reserved on the agenda. A one-hour coaches clinic will also take place the first evening, and there is an option for teams to have more instruction time and a coach specifically assigned to them. There is a maximum of 20 teams per session.

The individual skills camp is open to players aged 8-14 of all genders and is designed to teach basic volleyball skills in drills and competition. The camp will have three morning sessions running from 9 a.m. to noon on July 16-18. Check in is at 8 a.m. on July 16 at Stambaugh Stadium, and the cost is $90.

The advanced skills camp is open to rising freshmen through seniors and is designed for players with varsity or club experience who would like to play volleyball at the collegiate level. It is an all-day camp with two sessions scheduled for all three days. Check in is at 8 a.m. on July 16, and the camp will go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each of the three days. Lunch will be provided for the advanced skills camp, and the cost is $180.
