• The Youngstown State men's basketball team opens a three-game homestand when it hosts in-state and Horizon League rival Cleveland State, Saturday, Jan. 28.
• Tipoff is at 7 p.m. at the Beeghly Center and the game will be broadcast on 570-AM WKBN, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.
• This is the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Game, and is part of a women's and men's basketball doubleheader.
• Youngstown State coaches will be wearing sneakers to help promote cancer awareness as part of an initiative with the National Basketball Coaches Association and the American Cancer Society.
• This is the 86th meeting between Youngstown State and Cleveland State in a series that dates back to 1930. 
• The Vikings own a 45-40 advantage in the all-time series and have won four of the last five.
• YSU's last victory was a 70-55 win at Quicken Loans Arena last season.
• The Penguins are coming off a tough 94-85 overtime loss to Milwaukee on Jan. 22.
• Junior Cameron Morse led five players scoring in double figures with 21 points.

• Head Coach Jerry Slocum has 719 career wins and became the 38th head coach in NCAA history to reach 700 wins.

• Junior Cameron Morse became the 37th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points after scoring 13 against Northern Kentucky. 
• Morse now ranks 23rd all-time with 1,138 career points and needs 50 more to move into 21st place.
