• The Youngstown State men's basketball team closes out its short homestand when it welcomes UIC, Saturday, Jan. 14.

• Tipoff is at 7 p.m. at the Beeghly Center and the game will be broadcast on 570-AM WKBN, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

• The game is also the second-half of a women's and men's basketball doubleheader.

• This is the 38th meeting between Youngstown State and UIC in a series that dates back to 1993.

• The Flames own a 25-12 advantage in the all-time series, but the Penguins have won the last three and five of the last six.

• YSU has also won the last three played at the Beeghly Center.

• The Penguins are coming off a 78-62 loss to Valparaiso on Jan. 12.

• Junior Cameron Morse led the Penguins with 18 points while senior Matt Donlan had 10.
