Men's Basketball Hosts Wright State Thursday Night

• The Youngstown State men's basketball team returns to the Beeghly Center to play its final two home game of the year starting with a matchup against Wright State, Thursday, Feb. 16.

• Tipoff is at 7:45 p.m. at the Beeghly Center and the game will be broadcast on 570-AM WKBN, ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app.

• This is also part of a women's and men's basketball doubleheader.

• This is the 55th meeting between Youngstown State and Wright State in a series that dates back to 1977.

• The Raiders own 42-12 advantage in the all-time series and have won six of the last nine.

• The Penguins won the last meeting, 80-75, on Jan. 7.

• The Penguins' last victory over Wright State at the Beeghly Center was in 2014.

• The Penguins are coming off an 82-72 loss at Valparaiso on Feb. 11.

• Junior Cameron Morse scored a game-high 25 points while Francisco Santiago and Braun Hartfield each had 15 points.

• Head Coach Jerry Slocum has 720 career wins and became the 38th head coach in NCAA history to reach 700 wins.

• He ranks 35th on that list and is ninth on the active Division I coaches list.

• Junior Cameron Morse became the 37th player in school history to reach 1,000 career points after scoring 13 against Northern Kentucky on Jan. 5.

• Morse now ranks 19th all-time with 1,262 career points.

• Morse was just named the Horizon League Player of the Week on Feb. 13.
