Five Named to the NABC 2016-17 Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) today announced the 2016-17 NABC Honors Court, recognizing those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season. The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom

Five Youngstown State men's basketball players were named to the NABC Honors Court. Those players include Brett Frantz (Sr., General Studies), Cameron Morse (Jr., Business), Stefan Rosic (Jr., Business Administration), Ryan Strollo (General Studies), Tyler Warford (Sr., Exercise Science).

Youngstown State also received the NABC's Team Academic Excellence Award.

The Penguins open the 2017-18 season against Kent State, Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Third Annual Northeast Ohio Coaches vs. Cancer Doubleheader hosted by the University of Akron.
